Meet Dr. Kathryn Garforth

Watch A Brief Intro From Our Founder

At Garforth Education we believe that every child has the right to an education that will meet their needs.

We recognize that in order for this to happen, both the school and the child’s family have to be willing to work
as a team.

At Garforth Education we strive to support both parents and educators by providing consultation and course work.

It is essential that we have a mutual understanding of the student’s needs and ways to support them in order to reach the common goal of setting them up for success.

We want to support you!

Our self-paced online courses offer you the unique opportunity to learn about important education topics for supporting all students and the ones who need it the most. Courses are available to purchase individually or access to all of them through one of our membership programs.

Parents
we can help you!

When you discover that your child has unique learning needs you are faced with a flood of emotions and realize there is so much more you need to learn.

As a dyslexic herself and the parent of two neuro-diverse children, Dr. Kathryn Garforth has a unique understanding of what you are going through. She started working with families while she was still in high school, helping them navigate the school system.

Dr. Garforth loves working one on one with families, helping discover the best way to support their child. She also recognizes there is lots to learn and has created online courses designed to help parents learn the things the books don’t cover.

She has created an online community as a safe place to ask questions and get continued support as your child grows and their needs change.

As an educator, you are committed to being a lifelong learner in order to keep up with the changes in understanding of best practices in education.

However, there is so much information out there. It’s hard to sift through it all and find the key elements you need to improve your practice.

Professional development is essential, but equally important is having the support to help you take that new knowledge into practice.

A safe place to ask questions and get feedback as you change your practice.

We offer both an online community and connection calls so that we can support you and become part of your tribe.
