The full day seminar allows Dr. Kathryn Garforth the time to create more of an interactive environment, resulting in more discussion about case studies and examples.
She also has time to focus more on taking the information from the report and using it to inform the individual’s supports both inside and outside of school, as well as how to use the information in an IEP.
This session will allow participants to have the experience of reading through examples on their own, before discussing the examples with their peers and then as a large group.
The full day seminar provides a more comprehensive understanding of the psycho-educational assessment.
Participants will leave with a systematic approach to reading through psycho-educational assessments, resources to refer to in the future when they need to and the practical experience of working through different reports.
